The end of 8 crazy nights

Hanukkah just ended, and to the best my knowledge lines up with the birth of Christ. There is much debate on the subject, but I tend think this link (http://www.new-life.net/chrtms10.htm) gives the most valid description as to when it probably happened. Even with the differing opinions, pretty much everyone who has studied the subject seems to agree that it could not have happened in the winter season. Though I do not agree with their conclusion, the usually reliable www.snopes.com seems offer support to this belief.
